Teen REACH Summer Break Camp

Looking for a summer full of adventure, creativity, connection, and growth? Teen REACH Summer Camp at the Greater Peoria Family YMCA is designed for students currently in 5th–8th grade. Whether your teen loves science, sports, the arts, or just wants to make new friends and memories, we’ve got it all—and then some.

June 1st – July 24th | Grades 5th – 8th

Location: Greater Peoria Family YMCA | Camp Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–5:30pm

Forever Chasing Summer:

Teen REACH is a free daily program but includes a one-time $150 activity fee.
There is a $25 registration fee and then an additional fee of $125 for the whole summer which is $17.85/week.
Registration closes on Monday before the next week.

  • Camp is closed on June 19 (Juneteenth)
  • Bring a breakfast snack, packed lunch, water bottle, and swim gear each day
  • Campers must be signed in by 9:00am
  • Field trip and swim schedules announced weekly

  • There is a $25 registration fee and then an additional fee of $125 for the whole summer which is $17.85/week.
  • The fee is collected to help offset transportation and fuel, supplies, snacks, or field trip costs.
  • The total fee must be paid in full by the end of the summer break and before any other registrations can be completed.
  • Online registration is encouraged. Register here for Teen REACH Summer Break Camp.
  • Spots will fill up quickly; please register for all weeks you plan to attend!
  • We accept registration all through summer. You must register by the Monday before for the following week.
  • If you need to find the email associated with your online account, please call the front desk at 309-692-7631. The front desk can also send you a reset link for your password for your online account.
  • Camp fees will be drafted on Mondays 1 week before the first day of your registered camp week
  • To change the billing schedule, please reach out to Mike Tedford mike.tedford@peoriaymca.org for all billing/paperwork questions.
  • 2026 payment schedule can be found in the Summer Day Camp Handbook 2026.
  • Children must be signed in every day by 9:00 am.
  • Children arriving late will not be accepted into camp without prior notice to leadership or a doctor’s note.
  • Late pick-up occurs after 5:30pm and each student is charged a late fee of $1 per minute.
