There will be a parent informational meeting at 5:45pm on September 16th at Manual High School
All practices are held Monday-Thursday.

YMCA Swim Team Philosophy:
It is our philosophy that any swimmer who practices regularly, works hard, and tries to improve deserves as many opportunities as possible to swim at meets (some swimmers may swim more than others). The positive support of coaches, parents, and teammates will help all of our swimmers to reach their goals of individual and team improvement. We must not measure success by how someone performs against teammates and opponents, but by how the swimmer performs against the clock and his or her own improvement. We encourage every swimmer to cheer for fellow teammates at meets and at practice.

Babysitting Course
The purpose of the American Red Cross Babysitting Training Course is to provide youth with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. The courses in this program teach participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person when minutes matter, and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. This program is offered as a blended learning training where participants will need to finish online pre-work prior to attending the instructor-led skill session. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be certified by the American Red Cross First Aid for two years. |

This competitive program offers children an opportunity to work with trained coaches to improve swimming skills, endurance and promote a healthy lifestyle. While attendance at all 4 days per week is strongly encouraged to help build their skill and ready them for competition, participants may attend as few or as many practices as they would like to accommodate their school schedule and other extra curricular activities. It is highly recommended that swim team members do their best to attend practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the most effective workout and conditioning opportunities.
