Before & After School Care - Greater Peoria YMCA

This program is structured around the Y Principles of youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Students will participate in a variety of activities that keep them active, engaged and growing.

HOW DO I REGISTER: All registrations must be completed online.

**Registration for the upcoming week of Before and Aftercare programming closes at 11:59 PM on Wednesdays. Processing can take up to three days, so we encourage registering ahead of time. Registrations past closure cannot be guaranteed and will require conformation from the School Age Director.**

License exempt programs providing services for school age children may operate during remote learning days as determined by their local school district. No license exempt program shall serve a school age child during the school day if that child is enrolled in a school district that is requiring physical attendance on that day.

The YMCA offers before and after school care at select locations in the Peoria area. Please see program dates below **School Sites Available Tab**.

Eligibility is limited to students who attend the school where care services are provided. All services are delivered on-site at the school in which the child is both enrolled and participating in Y programming.

Online Registration

Child Care Connections (CCC) Accepted. All Change of Provider forms should be faxed or scanned to Mike Tedford – fax: 309-692-4892 or email mike.tedford@peoriaymc a.org.
Scholarships Available: Reduced program and membership fees are available through the Greater Peoria Family YMCA. Rates will be based upon the household income and size of the family. A sliding scale is used to determine fees. Scholarship recipients must reapply annually. To qualify for child care assistance through the YMCA, parents must have been denied by Child Care Connections (CCC) first.
If you do not qualify for CCC, you may apply for scholarships through the Peoria YMCA.YMCA Scholarship Form
Cancellation/Change of Rate Plan Policy: If your child is enrolled in our Before & After School Care program and you need to change the days or times of their attendance, you must complete the CHANGE OF STATUS FORM. Requests must be submitted at least one week in advance of the desired change.
Parents are responsible for all fees until the change takes effect.
To ensure proper student-to-staff ratios, any additions or changes to your child’s schedule require a submitted Change of Status form.
PLEASE NOTE: all registered students participating in Y programming will be billed weekly via bank draft, regardless of attendance, unless a Change of Status Form has been submitted.

6:30am – School Start *(Princeville will start at 7:00am)
School End – 6:00pm

The Y offers Schools Day Out programming on most full days that schools are not in session. These programs are held at the YMCA and must be registered for separately.

The YMCA does not provide school programming on inclement weather days that the school is not in session and/or when after school activities are cancelled. Please refer to Parent Handbook for additional information.
