SESSION DATES & TIMES: 08/15/25 | Friday | 4:00PM - 9:00PM 08/16/25 | Saturday | 9:00AM-6:00PM 08/17/25 | Sunday | 9:00AM-6:00PM The Lifeguarding course provides participants the knowledge and skills to prevent recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies in both shallow water (less than 7 feet) and deeper water (7 feet or more) and to provide professional-level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over. This class is taught in a blended learning format and the assigned online portion(s) (accessed via mobile desktop or tablet) must be completed prior to each instructor-led session. Participants who successfully complete this course receive an American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding (including deep water) with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid valid for 2 years. Prerequisites: 1. Minimum age: 15 years; 2. Complete a swim- tread-swim sequence: Jump into the water submerge resurface swim 150 yards (using the front crawl breaststroke or a combination of both) maintain position at the surface of the water for 2 minutes by treading water using only the legs then swim 50 yards using the front crawl breaststroke or a combination of both. 3. Complete a timed event within 1 minute 40 seconds by starting in the water swimming 20 yards surface dive (feet-first or head-first) to a depth of 7 to 12 feet to retrieve a 10-pound object return to the surface and swim 20 yards on the back to return to the starting point holding the object at the surface with both hand exit the water without using a ladder or steps. THIS IS A BLENDED COURSE. MAY TAKE 7 HOURS TO COMPLETE. Blended training courses take place virtually and in-person. Once you have registered for the course, you will be sent an email from "Salesforce Automation". Successful completion of the online learning is required prior to attending in-person session.

The primary purpose of the American Red Cross Babysitter's Training course is to provide youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. This class will provide participants to achieve their American Red Cross Pediatric First Aid & CPR certificate. This training is designed for youths ages 13 to 17.

Through fun and engaging activities, participants will learn to: -Propel themselves through the water using basic arm and leg movements. -Float on their front and back unassisted. -Roll from front to back and back to front. -Safely exit the water independently. This stage emphasizes water safety and encourages young swimmers to explore the pool environment with increasing confidence and skill. Participants must be able to comfortably work with an instructor in a small-group setting without parental participation. ***This program is being offered separately from our ongoing Swim School offerings, meaning that when a student progresses to the next stage, they will need to transition to a new day or time rather than remaining in the same time slot with a different instructor.***
