At the YMCA, we are committed to creating safe, supportive, and enriching environments where youth can learn, grow, and thrive. Our Youth Development programs are designed to meet children and teens where they are—academically, socially, and emotionally—while helping them build confidence, character, and lifelong skills.
Our before and after care programs provide a structured and engaging extension of the school day for elementary-aged youth. From the moment children arrive, they are welcomed into a safe environment that balances homework support, physical activity, creative expression, and social connection. Our trained staff prioritize safety, supervision, and positive relationship-building while giving children the opportunity to explore, play, and develop independence.
For older youth, our Teen Reach Program offers a dynamic after-school experience focused on academic success, life skills, and personal growth. Serving middle and high school students, Teen Reach provides mentorship, enrichment activities, and a safe space during critical after-school hours—when youth benefit most from positive guidance and structured engagement. Through leadership opportunities, service learning, and exposure to new experiences, teens are empowered to make positive choices and prepare for future success.
Together, these programs reflect our commitment to strengthening families and building a stronger community—one child, one teen, and one opportunity at a time.
STRONG KIDS

Strong Kids is a free child watch program that gives parents and caregivers peace of mind while they work out at the Y. In a safe, caring environment, children enjoy age-appropriate activities while families focus on their health and well-being.
CAMP AT THE Y

YMCA Summer Camp and School Break Camps provide a safe, engaging environment where children can stay active, build friendships, and explore new interests while school is out. Through hands-on activities, outdoor play, and enriching experiences, campers gain confidence, develop new skills, and create lasting memories.
BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL CARE

The YMCA Before & After School Program provides a safe, supportive environment for children to learn, play and connect before and after the school day. Care is available from 6:30 a.m. until school begins, and from school dismissal until 6:00 p.m.
TEEN REACH

Teen REACH provides a safe, supportive environment where teens can build confidence, develop life skills, and strengthen connections with their peers and caring adult mentors. Through academic support, enrichment activities, and leadership opportunities, the program helps young people reach their full potential and thrive in school, at home, and in the community.
