The Peoria YMCA offers 1-on-1 basketball training sessions to improve your basketball skills! Each training session will provide clients with a challenging skill development atmosphere that is uniquely designed per individual’s needs.
All coaches are former collegiate athletes with the knowledge, experience, and passion to create well-rounded players.
Each session is 1 hour long. The first session is a “free trial” to evaluate the needs of the individual

Spooky Trunk Decoration Registration
Help us out with some SPOOKY FUN for all! Bring your own candy for the trick-or-treaters. Register and decorate your trunk for a chance to win a 3-month family membership to the YMCA and RiverPlex! Decorated trucks please arrive at the YMCA no later than 4:30pm for setup and check-in. Last year we saw about 1000 trick-or-treaters. The YMCA and RiverPlex front desks are accepting bagged candy donations. |

HKU 2023 Fall Session
Join us for a family-based weight management program combining exercise with nutrition and behavioral classes. The 10-week program helps children ages 8-15 years and their families develop healthier habits through hands-on games, activities and education. They will work with a team of professionals from OSF and fitness specialists from the YMCA to develop healthier habits. Participants also have access to the YMCA and RiverPlex's facilities during the duration of the program. The participant with the most facility scan-ins during the duration of the program wins an extra 3-month family membership. Location: Greater Peoria Family YMCA, 7000 N. Dance Discovery Fall 2023
Dance Discovery is an 8-week introductory dance program. Students will be introduced to ballet (1st week), jazz (2nd week), tumbling (3rd week), and hip-hop (4th week) by spending two weeks on each style to allow students to see what styles he/she enjoys best!
