YMCA Biddy Basketball

Big fun. First skills. A great start to basketball.

Introduce your child to basketball in a fun, positive and age-appropriate environment with YMCA Biddy Basketball!

This four-week program gives children in Pre-K–Kindergarten and 1st–2nd Grade an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of basketball, build confidence and experience what it means to be a great teammate.

Players meet once a week in the YMCA gym for skill-building activities and games designed especially for young athletes. Each session introduces the basics of:

• Dribbling
• Passing
• Shooting
• Defense
• Teamwork

Our focus is on having fun, building confidence, developing fundamental skills and helping every player feel like part of the team. No previous basketball experience is needed—just come ready to learn and play!

Session 1: October 26–November 16
Session 2: November 30–December 21
Program Length: 4 weeks
Frequency: Once per week
Location: YMCA Gym
