The Y is committed to helping our community become healthier, by being a community collaborator for public health and offers a variety of program for adults of all ages. In addition to sports leagues, we have field trips, bible study, CPR classes and much more.

In an effort to meet this fundamental community need, we are offering this water safety program for FREE to the community in the hopes of providing access to families that may not otherwise have the means to attend formal swim lessons. Through the Safety Around Water program we will be working with our youth to overcome barriers and face challenges in and around the water in a safe and fun environment with others with similar experience. This competitive program offers children an opportunity to work with trained coaches to improve swimming skills, endurance and promote a healthy lifestyle. While attendance at all 4 days per week is strongly encouraged to help build their skill and ready them for competition, participants may attend as few or as many practices as they would like to accommodate their school schedule and other extra curricular activities. It is highly recommended that swim team members do their best to attend practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the most effective workout and conditioning opportunities.
