Attention All YMCA Day Camp Parents: Just a friendly reminder that camp registration will close the Friday before the start of each week of camp (for Camp Big Hollow and Camp Limestone). Don’t miss out on securing your child’s spot!

Dates: May 28th – August 9th 2024

Ages: For children entering Kindergarten – 6th grade.

Times: 6:30AM – 5:30PM, M – F (camp will not be held on May 27th or July 4th)

What can your child expect at YMCA Camp Limestone? Endless adventures await as campers explore the great outdoors, engage in exciting activities, and form lifelong friendships. From thrilling field trips to hands-on workshops, every day promises new experiences and opportunities for discovery.

Through teamwork, problem-solving challenges, and guided activities, campers will build valuable life skills while having the time of their lives.

  • If you need to find the email associated with your online account, please call the front desk at 309-692-7631. The front desk can also send you a reset link for your password to your online account.

  • $175/week for YMCA/RiverPlex Members.
  • $235/week for Non-Members. (Weekly Rates Only).
  • At the time of registration, each child will be assigned a $25 non-refundable registration fee
  • Spots will fill up quickly, please register for all weeks you plan to attend!
  • Yes! Child Care Connection and/or DCFS is accepted. Child Care Connection/DCFS paperwork must be emailed to taylor.simpson@peoriaymca.org or faxed to 309-692-4892
  • You must register your child(ren) to secure your spot, regardless of the status of your paperwork.
  • Full weekly camp fees will be drafted the Monday morning of each camp week; this payment schedule is set up at the time of online registration.
  • A $20 non-refundable NSF fee is charged to accounts if the payment method does not go through on the Monday morning of each week. Please ensure funds are available or your payment methods is up-to-date.
  • Of course! To make payment arrangements please contact Taylor Simpson at taylor.simpson@peoriaymca.org or give her a call at 309-692-7631 x 104.
  • A change of status must be emailed to Taylor Simpson at taylor.simpson@peoriaymca.org, no later than one-week before the date.
  • Example: I registered by child for Week 3: June 12-16 but can longer attend. The deadline to cancel this week is June 5th.
  • You will be charged in full for the week, if the email is not received by Taylor.

  • To use our scholarship for Day Camp, you must be denied by Child Care Connection first.
  • Our scholarship differs from the RiverPlex (Park District), you must apply at the YMCA for our scholarship program. We do not accept the Park District Scholarship.
  • Campers will rotate between various activities, crafts, and games throughout the day. There will also be weekly learning opportunities that relate to the YMCA’s core values, which are Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, and Caring. Campers will also be provided with a morning and afternoon snack.
  • Week 1: 5/28-5/31
    • Reminder: No Camp 5/27 due to Memorial Day
  • Week 2: 6/3-6/7
  • Week 3: 6/10-6/14
  • Week 4: 6/17-6/21
  • Week 5: 6/24-6/28
  • Week 6: 7/1-7/5 (No camp available on July 4th).
  • Week 7: 7/8-7/12
  • Week 8: 7/15-7/19
  • Week 9: 7/22-7/26
  • Week 10: 7/29-8/2
  • Week 11: 8/5-8/9 School’s Day Out (registration details to come).**
  • Field Trips: Yes, campers will go on scheduled fieldtrips through out the summer – more details to come before the start of camp.
  • Swimming: Yes, campers will go swimming 4 days per week.
  • Additional: We will have community guests that will come to visit the camp throughout the summer!
  • Campers should bring:
    • A backpack
    • A reusable water bottle
    • A swimsuit, towel, and flipflops for swim days
    • A change of clothes for emergencies
    • Tennis shoes
    • Sunglasses/hats
    • Sunscreen
    • Note: Please leave all toys and electronics at home!
  • Yes, we will have a designated lost and found bin that will be accessible to campers, parents, and staff. The YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Items will be donated to charity if they are not claimed.

Some YMCAs offer overnight camps that run from a few days to a few weeks in scenic outdoor areas that span from New Hampshire to Hawaii. Camp programs offer a wide variety of outdoor adventures led by trained and experienced leaders who guide children and teenagers in having an unforgettable experience. Expect new and fun activities that will add not only build skills, but great new friends and character values for life. Here are a few in the midwest.
